This holiday season, the Christmas World of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) is filled with music, inviting everyone to enjoy a rich program of diverse sounds tailored to every taste.
Cosmos: Festive Concerts at the Stavros Niarchos Hall
Two festive concerts at the Stavros Niarchos Hall bring the holiday spirit to life:
- El Sistema Greece “Once Upon a December”
Monday, December 16, 20:00
The multicultural symphonic orchestra and youth choir of El Sistema Greece, along with soloists Myrsini Margariti and Nikolas Karagiaouris, perform popular musical pieces and timeless film classics. Led by conductor Kyriaki Kountouri and choir director Vagia Papagiannopoulou, over 100 young artists from 30 countries share the stage for this grand celebration.

The orchestra presents Camille Saint-Saëns’ The Carnival of the Animals, Christos Papageorgiou’s Triptych for Two Pianos, and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s Christmas Eve Suite.

Youth-Led Celebrations at the Stavros Niarchos Park
Emerging musical groups take center stage in the park, performing under the illuminated Dome installation. Events include:

- December 20: Lou and Agatha & Molyneaux
- December 26: Porschelane and Half Quickie & Kaist
Concerts start at 20:00. Admission is free.
Silent Disco Christmas Party
Saturday, December 21, 22:00–02:00
The Dome hosts a dazzling Silent Disco Party under the Pressure light installation by Hans E. Madsen and Frederik D. Hougs. Equipped with wireless headphones, attendees can switch between two live DJ performances. Admission is free with priority entry.
Tribute to Louis Armstrong
Monday, January 6, 20:00
In a free concert at SNFCC Agora, the Storyville Ragtimers pay homage to the jazz legend Louis Armstrong, showcasing timeless hits like What a Wonderful World and other classics that redefined jazz.
Christmas Pop-Up Bar
December 22 – January 7, 17:00–23:00
The Lighthouse Terrace becomes the ultimate holiday meeting spot with festive cocktails, panoramic views of Athens, and DJ sets by renowned artists, including Pepper 96.6, DJ Spector, and others.
