From Crete to a Multi-Sector Future: The New Zeus Papakaliatis Group.

The Papakaliatis Group enters a new phase of development with the launch of Zeus Papakaliatis Group, a unified corporate brand that brings together all of its activities and reflects its contemporary business identity.

With roots in Crete dating back to the 1960s and more than six decades of presence in Greek tourism, the Group has evolved into a multi-sector organisation active in hospitality, destination management, technology and mobility.

Through a strategic growth path, it has shaped a modern, interconnected business model in which each activity operates in synergy with the others. The creation of Zeus Papakaliatis Group marks the first organised consolidation of the Group’s individual companies under a shared strategy and corporate identity, strengthening its cohesion and international presence.

Together, the companies form an integrated ecosystem in which hospitality, technology, tourism management and mobility complement one another, creating a dynamic and forward-looking business platform.

Hellenic Zeus / Zeus of Crete – Destination Management

Hellenic Zeus / Zeus of Crete is the historic core of the Group and one of Greece’s most established destination management companies. Founded in Crete in 1966, it evolved from the island’s first incoming and handling agency into a dynamic organisation serving hundreds of thousands of visitors annually, in collaboration with leading international tour operators such as easyJet Holidays.

With an extensive network across Greece and integrated services covering transfers, excursions, accommodation and travel experiences, Hellenic Zeus acts as a key link between destination, partners and visitors, playing a decisive role in shaping the Group’s overall hospitality experience.

Zeus Hotels Greece – Hospitality

At the centre of the ecosystem is Zeus Hotels Greece, the Group’s hospitality arm, which has been actively present in Greek tourism since 2013.

Today, the company is developing a diverse hotel portfolio across Crete, Rhodes and Santorini, combining international partnerships with strong local identity and a long-term investment approach.

The portfolio ranges from internationally branded resorts to independent hotels with distinct character. It includes, among others, Magma Resort Santorini, a member of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt.

It also includes hotels operating under Meliá Hotels International brands, such as INNSiDE by Meliá Elounda, Blue Sea Beach Affiliated by Meliá, Sol Cosmopolitan Rhodes and Sol Marina Beach, as well as Cook’s Club Hersonissos, a member of the Casa Cook brand.

The Group further strengthens its presence with properties including Neptuno Beach in Ammoudara, Heraklion, Ydoria Resort in Rethymno, Palm Beach in Stalida and El Greco in the centre of Heraklion.

In this context, Zeus Hotels Greece also presents its new website, which serves as a refreshed digital point of reference for the brands and experiences it offers.

Zeus Tech – Technology

Zeus Tech forms the Group’s technology pillar, developing in-house solutions for the hotel and tourism sectors with the aim of improving operational efficiency and enhancing the guest experience. Through applications integrated into hotel operations, technology supports and advances modern hospitality.

beds4greece – Distribution

beds4greece is a digital DMC in Greece, connecting tour operators, bed banks, travel agents and hotel partners. Through modern technological infrastructure, it offers integrated services including accommodation, reservations, transfers, excursions and in-destination support.

With a strong partnership network and a portfolio of more than 1,000 hotels, beds4greece actively contributes to the development of tourism distribution, reinforcing the Group’s dynamic presence in both the Greek and international travel markets.

Mobility

In the mobility sector, the Group is developing an extensive network of partnerships and strategic representations of international brands. These include Toyota and Lexus through Papakaliatis S.A., as well as collaborations by PapakaliatisGo with brands such as Volkswagen, Skoda and Audi, along with Lynk & Co, Chery, Aion and Farizon, strengthening the Group’s position in the modern mobility market.

The new corporate identity of Zeus Papakaliatis Group is not merely a change of name. It represents the creation of a unified corporate structure that expresses the full range of the Group’s activities. For the first time, the individual companies are brought together under a common identity, clearly reflecting the breadth and momentum of the organisation.

With a consistent focus on long-term development and value creation, Zeus Papakaliatis Group marks a more mature and cohesive phase in the evolution of the Papakaliatis Group, establishing a clear and strong presence in today’s business environment.

Lefteris Papakaliatis, CEO of the Group, stated:

The creation of Zeus Papakaliatis Group is a natural next step for the Group after a journey of more than 60 years. It is not only a new corporate identity, but the expression of a more mature and integrated business model, bringing different sectors together under a shared strategic direction. Our goal is to continue evolving by investing in sectors that are meaningfully connected — hospitality, technology, tourism management and mobility — creating an ecosystem with long-term value and a clear footprint in the Greek and international markets.
