A vibrant celebration of creativity, open to all.
From 22 to 25 May, Athens becomes the epicenter of creative expression, as the Greek Visual Communication Design Awards (EBGE) return with a dynamic four-day program. The EBGE Design Days 2025 invite the public to explore a city-wide celebration filled with talks, exhibitions, open studios, creative walks, and more — all with free admission.
This annual event is designed for everyone who appreciates the power of design — from seasoned professionals and students to curious minds and lovers of good aesthetics. The goal is to create a space for connection, exchange, and inspiration, where audiences can meet the city’s creative forces and take part in the evolving conversation around contemporary design.
This year’s program includes:
• Talks and panel discussions on topics such as sound design, copyright and AI, architecture, screen printing, and editorial design
• Exhibitions showcasing this year’s EBGE-winning works and book design presentations
• Creative walks through Athens’ design studios, offering a rare glimpse behind the scenes
• Open studios, hands-on workshops, and spontaneous happenings — all open to the public
While all events are free, some may require registration due to limited capacity.
More than just a series of events, the EBGE Design Days are a joyful celebration of creativity — a warm, inclusive invitation to engage, imagine, and be inspired at the heart of the city.
The festivities culminate in the EBGE 2025 Awards Ceremony on Saturday, 24 May, at the Onassis Stegi. The evening will be hosted by comedian and writer Ira Katsouda.
