The Art of Power and Craft: Inside the New Bentley Flying Spur.

The new generation of the Flying Spur introduces refreshed design, advanced V8 hybrid powertrains, the return of the S version and new Mulliner personalisation possibilities.

Bentley presents the new Flying Spur, the latest generation of its luxury four-door grand tourer, combining handcrafted perfection, technological sophistication and supercar-level performance.

With a renewed design identity, new V8 hybrid powertrains and exceptional personalisation possibilities, the new Flying Spur continues to set the benchmark in the high-performance luxury sedan segment.

The new Flying Spur is available in five versions: Flying Spur, Azure, S, Speed and Mulliner. Each expresses a different interpretation of the same philosophy, from the ideal balance of luxury and performance to ultimate handcrafted personalisation and a more dynamic driving experience.

For the first time since 1962, a four-door Bentley model adopts single front headlamps, marking a new design era for the Flying Spur and aligning it visually with the fourth generation of the Continental GT family. The new front headlamps follow the “focused eye” design language, with an oval shape and a sharply defined upper line, giving the Flying Spur a more contemporary, clean and assertive expression.

The grille is now more harmoniously integrated into the front bumper, while the new headlamps are available in two different executions depending on the version. In profile, the design follows a cleaner and more refined approach, with the badge repositioned behind the front wheel. At the rear, the boot area receives a new design, with flowing surfaces, new tail lamps and a number plate surround painted in the body colour. The new rear lamps express Bentley’s characteristic illuminated “B” signature with greater clarity, strengthening the model’s night-time identity.

The exterior is completed by new 22-inch wheels, available optionally on the Azure and S versions, as well as a new Dark Teal metallic finish, a deep blue with subtle green undertones inspired by nature and designed to enhance the sculptural presence of the bodywork.

The Return of the Flying Spur S

The new Flying Spur also marks the return of the S version, created for drivers seeking greater engagement, exceptional dynamic performance and an even sportier character.

Inspired by the philosophy of the Continental GT S, the new Flying Spur S is equipped with the Bentley Performance Active Chassis and the advanced High Performance Hybrid powertrain. By adopting the Bentley Performance Active Chassis, a technology previously associated mainly with the flagship Speed and Mulliner versions, the Flying Spur S gains a distinctly more driver-focused character.

With 680 PS and 930 Nm of torque, it is the most powerful and fastest Flying Spur S ever introduced. This represents an increase of 130 PS compared with the previous Flying Spur S, further reinforcing its role as the most dynamic S version in the model’s history. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is completed in just 3.7 seconds, while top speed reaches 307 km/h.

The Bentley Performance Active Chassis includes active all-wheel drive, dual-valve dampers, torque vectoring front-to-rear and across both axles, the 48V Bentley Dynamic Ride active roll control system, a new-generation stability control software system and, for the first time in a Flying Spur S, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential.

It is one of the most advanced and driver-focused chassis systems ever developed by Bentley, designed to combine high levels of grip, precision and control with the comfort that defines the Flying Spur.

The sporty personality of the Flying Spur S is also reflected in its design. The Blackline Specification is combined with gloss black Matrix grilles, black Bentley badges and BENTLEY lettering, creating a more dynamic and commanding presence. Beluga Black mirrors and side sills, dark-tinted Precision Design Matrix LED headlamps, tinted rear lamps and dark sports exhaust tailpipes complete the most expressive interpretation of the Flying Spur.

Mulliner Virtuoso Collection: The Flying Spur for Music Lovers

The new Flying Spur gains even greater depth of personalisation through the Mulliner Virtuoso Collection, now also available for Bentley’s luxury four-door grand tourer.

The collection combines the flagship Naim for Mulliner sound system with refined materials, unique embroidery and Champagne Gold details, drawing inspiration from the craftsmanship, precision and aesthetic sophistication of fine musical instruments.

It is available in three thematic expressions: Soprano, Tenor and Bass. These offer different aesthetic approaches, from brighter and more serene interiors to darker and more dramatic compositions. Champagne Gold details appear throughout the vehicle, from exterior badges and exhaust tailpipes to the collection’s special emblems and the car key itself.

Originally developed for the Batur, the Naim for Mulliner sound system now represents Bentley’s ultimate audio offering. With 21 speakers and technology inspired by Focal’s iconic Grand Utopia speakers, it delivers the most immersive sound experience ever fitted to a production Bentley.

The patented “M”-profile speaker cones ensure exceptional rigidity, minimal distortion and outstanding fidelity, reproducing every detail with remarkable realism and naturalness.

Comfort, Wellbeing and Handcrafted Perfection

The new Flying Spur continues to express Bentley’s philosophy of comfort, wellbeing and dynamic driving. With five different seating options, the model offers a high level of personalisation, allowing each customer to configure the cabin according to their individual needs and preferences.

The seating options highlight Bentley’s emphasis on handcrafted perfection, with each seat requiring approximately 12 hours of specialist work. Through fluted or quilted inserts, premium upholstery materials and meticulous detailing, the cabin of the new Flying Spur reflects the distinctive combination of craftsmanship, comfort and personalisation that defines the marque.

From the ultimate comfort of rear-seat passengers to the more driver-focused experience of the S version, the new Flying Spur remains a car of dual character: a luxury sedan for elevated everyday travel and, at the same time, a grand tourer capable of delivering performance and dynamic behaviour reminiscent of a supercar.

Production of the new Flying Spur will begin at Bentley’s Crewe factory in September 2026.
