The iconic red aperitivo, Campari, marked the opening of Negroni Week in a spectacular way, transforming the historic Bageion Hotel in Omonia Square into a true Campari Hotel. Its doors opened for one night only, filled with elegance, creativity, and passion.
The historic landmark was lit up in red and welcomed more than 400 Negroni lovers, who had the chance to explore four themed rooms inspired by the unique story of the world’s #1 cocktail*.
The journey began at the “Choose Your Negroni Room”, where guests discovered the versatility of Campari through Negroni twists and classics, guided by the Red Hands bartenders of the Campari Academy. At the “Artist’s Room”, visitors enjoyed personalized creations, while the “Exhibition Room” took them on a journey through the heritage of the Negroni and the iconic red bitter.
The evening reached its climax at the impressive “Ballroom”, where DJ Xenia Ghali and performers captivated the audience with electrifying music and striking outfits. Among the distinguished guests were actress and Campari Brand Ambassador Tonia Sotiropoulou, alongside leading figures from the bartending community.
Proceeds from the event supported the charitable cause of Negroni Week, the global initiative by Campari and Imbibe Magazine, created to honor the iconic cocktail while supporting the international NGO Slow Food, which advocates for sustainability and transparency in the food and beverage industry.
Negroni Week 2025 runs until September 28, with more than 250 bars across Athens, Thessaloniki, and 15 other cities inviting us to discover the unique story of the Negroni.
