From The PSValueTalks (PSVT) — organized by PostScriptum, Greece’s leading forum on culture and the cultural economy — return on Tuesday, November 11, at the National Gallery – Alexandros Soutsos Museum (10:00–19:00).
With two thematic sections, four panels, two round tables, and over 30 speakers, PSValueTalks 2025 will explore emerging models in the cultural economy and the role of creators in the age of artificial intelligence.
Understanding the New Cultural Economy
This year’s PSValueTalks focus on the cultural economy in Greece for two reasons.
First, because despite the country’s vibrant content production, there remains a weak connection between the cultural sector and the wider economy — along with limited entrepreneurship — both of which intensify the long-standing global issue of underfunding.
Second, because we are living in a time when the ways we create, distribute, and consume culture are rapidly changing, driven by advances in artificial intelligence (AI). Understanding this field in depth has now become essential for cultural professionals and institutions alike.

The Structure of PSValueTalks 2025
Held under the auspices of the Ministries of Culture, National Economy & Finance, and Digital Governance, PSValueTalks 2025 is organized around two main thematic sections:
SECTION 1: New Models in the Cultural Economy
The first section will highlight not only what and how these models function, but also set the foundations for a new way of thinking about culture as a field of growth and investment, capable of generating tangible social and economic value.
- Panel 1 – What Are the New Models?
Discussion topics include successful practices and innovative approaches such as public-private partnerships, cross-sector collaborations between cultural and technological organizations, and hybrid entrepreneurship models. The panel will also explore how sustainability and social innovation can be embedded in cultural business strategies and how creative entrepreneurship can serve as a driver of development. - Panel 2 – How Are the New Models Funded?
This panel will examine funding mechanisms, recognizing that the sustainability of the cultural and creative sectors depends on flexible and diverse financial sources — public, private, European, or alternative. The conversation will include new financial tools such as impact investing and hybrid funding models that connect cultural creation with banking and investment ecosystems.
SECTION 2: Culture and Creativity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
This section encourages an open dialogue on how AI can serve as a tool for empowerment, rather than a threat to human creativity.
- Panel 3 – What Is the Role of Creators in the Age of AI?
Institutional representatives and creators will discuss issues related to the recognition and compensation of human creativity in works involving AI, as well as the ethical and professional dimensions of creative practice in the digital age. - Panel 4 – What Tools Are Available to Creators in the Age of AI?
This panel will focus on the practical tools available to creators for harnessing the potential of AI in ways that strengthen both creativity and sustainability. Risks such as algorithmic opacity, deepfakes, job displacement, and the digital divide will also be addressed.
