Breitling and Erling Haaland have come together to create something extraordinary: the Erling Haaland Signature Chronomat. These limited-edition timepieces feature meteorite dials cut from actual space rock, making each watch entirely unique—just like the global football icon himself. The collection also includes an ultra-rare third version created exclusively for Haaland and his inner circle.
This latest release from Breitling pays tribute to both the stars of the cosmos and a star of sport. Designed in close collaboration with Haaland, the collection includes:
- Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 (stainless steel & platinum, limited to 500 pieces)
- Chronomat B01 42 (18k red gold, limited to 250 pieces)
Each piece features a genuine meteorite dial, ensuring that no two watches are the same.
Haaland was involved in every design decision—from selecting the Chronomat to choosing the space rock dial and case materials.

Cosmic Details Meet Iconic Design
The Chronomat first launched in 1983 as Breitling’s return to mechanical chronographs during the quartz era. Inspired by a model developed for Italy’s Frecce Tricolori air squadron, the Chronomat is known for its bold proportions, rotating bezel with rider tabs, and signature Rouleaux bracelet.
Both Signature Editions honor this heritage.
- The Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 Erling Haaland has a meteorite dial with a steel case, platinum bezel, a red gold GMT hand, and Haaland’s initials on the central seconds hand. The caseback is engraved with “ONE OF 500” and “ERLING HAALAND 9,” surrounding a raised depiction of Haaland’s signature goal celebration.
- The Chronomat B01 42 Erling Haaland pushes boundaries further with an 18k red gold case, meteorite dial, and black chronograph subdials. Powered by the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, it has a 70-hour power reserve and a sapphire caseback engraved with “ONE OF 250” and Haaland’s jersey number “9.”
The collection also includes the exclusive “ONE OF 5” model, reserved for Haaland and his closest circle. Made from 18k red gold with a meteorite dial and custom side engraving of his name and number, it features Haaland in his signature lotus-pose goal celebration—symbolizing his astronomical rise.
Each watch comes in a special wooden case, with a handwritten note from Haaland—underscoring the personal nature of this collaboration.
Forged In Space, Designed For Earth
Each meteorite dial is cut from the Muonionalusta meteorite, one of the oldest materials known on Earth—formed in the core of an extinct star over 4.5 billion years ago. It landed in northern Sweden almost a million years ago. The dials display the rare Widmanstätten pattern, a natural interlacing crystalline structure formed only during ultra-slow cooling in space. It’s a visual fingerprint of the early solar system—impossible to replicate.

From a 15-year-old debut in Norway’s second division to becoming Manchester City’s top striker, Haaland’s rise has been meteoric. His stats are legendary: Champions League hat-tricks, Bundesliga milestones, and a historic treble with City in his first Premier League season.
