Mercato at the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens is excited to welcome Maggy Tabakaki, who will take on the role of Restaurant Chef starting October 15th. Maggy joins us just in time for the unveiling of the winter menu and the highly anticipated return of brunch, which Mercato’s loyal patrons love!

Maggy’s passion for cooking was sparked during her studies in Italy. There, she perfected her skills at the Culinary School of Rome and had the unique opportunity to work at the renowned Ristorante Essenza. She later played a key role in the creation of the award-winning Napule restaurant in Athens, where her refined creations, focused on seasonal ingredients and bold flavors, captivated food enthusiasts.

In Greece, Maggy’s career gained national recognition through her participation in MasterChef, and she later became a judge on Junior MasterChef. Today, she can be seen on the show Kalos Ta Paidia on ERT2, where she inspires young chefs with her culinary expertise, while also working with UNICEF to promote healthy eating among children.

With her experience and passion, Chef Maggy Tabakaki brings a fresh perspective to Mercato, inviting guests to a new culinary journey that promises to thrill.
