This year, Myconian Naia Luxury Suites, Preferred Hotels & Resorts of the Myconian Collection hospitality group, welcomes the award-winning Kinjo Japanese Restobar, the renowned Athenian Japanese restaurant that has been offering an authentic gastronomic experience in Vrilissia, Attica since 2018.
Kinjo, meaning “neighborhood” in Japanese, is expanding its reputation beyond Athens this year to the “neighborhood” of Mykonos. Kinjo Mykonos Japanese Restobar opens its doors on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, with a dynamic opening in the beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces of Myconian Naia Luxury Suites, offering panoramic views of Mykonos Town and the Aegean Sea.
In a collaboration that is truly one-of-a-kind, Myconian Naia Luxury Suites is introducing Kinjo Mykonos Japanese Restobar and its unique Japanese cuisine experience to its distinguished guests.
With Executive Chef Nick Politakos at the helm of the kitchen, Kinjo Mykonos Japanese Restobar brings its special philosophy to the public: Authentic ingredients that arrive on the Cycladic island directly from Japan, freshly prepared dishes, and a plethora of menu options, all carefully selected to meet the most sophisticated culinary desires.
A trip to London sparked Nick Politakos’ curiosity about this particular cuisine, which had always mysteriously attracted him. Having the good fortune to work at Athens’ first Japanese restaurant, the famous Kiku, he gained the foundation of Japanese food culture. His passion for this demanding type of cuisine led him to Japan and back to England on a journey to discover more and more pieces of the Japanese cuisine puzzle.
Chef Nick Politakos’ ultimate goal is to discover all the secret recipes to combine Japanese and Greek cuisine. An exquisite culinary challenge that is beautifully realized at Myconian Naia Luxury Suites, as the Myconian Collection group, remaining faithful to its distinguished gastronomic values, ensures that its restaurant kitchens are supplied with exquisite and, of course, the freshest seafood.
