At LAMDA Development, care means action, creation, inclusion, and quality of life. With society and the environment as its central pillars, LAMDA Development has presented L Factor, its comprehensive Corporate Responsibility program.
In a meeting with journalists and the presence and active participation of civil society organizations with which the company collaborates in the implementation of the L Factor initiatives, LAMDA presented the philosophy behind its new strategy:
“At LAMDA Development, we create destinations and experiences inspired by society, people, and the environment—redesigning life with care for today and tomorrow. That is why every action of ours multiplies the positive impact and creates value
with real benefits for society, the environment, and the individual.”
Emphasizing that L Factor prioritizes tangible contributions and a positive impact on citizens’ quality of life, support for local communities, and environmental protection, the company presented initiatives and actions under the following pillars:
Environment:
- Response to natural disasters
- Urban Green Dots – Enhancing urban greenery by creating and upgrading abandoned public green spaces
Society:
Vulnerable Social Groups
- a. People with Disabilities (PWD):
- IncluCity4All – Accessibility mapping initiative across 7 municipalities for people with disabilities, in collaboration with the NGO “Me Alla Matia” (With Different Eyes).
- “Adoption” and fostering of a puppy that, after training, will become a guide dog for individuals with visual impairments, in partnership with Liberty Guide Dogs.
- b. Senior Citizens:
- Time Together – A companionship and creative engagement program for the elderly, in collaboration with Emfasis Non-Profit.
Education:
- See Life with Different Eyes – Expansion of a school program raising awareness and familiarity with disability, in collaboration with the NGO “Me Alla Matia.”
- Smart City Innovators – Smart Cities for a Sustainable Future – Expansion of a school program connecting the younger generation with concepts of sustainable development, technology, and innovation, in collaboration with the non-profit organization SciCo.
Culture:
- The Circle of Museums – LAMDA’s flagship publishing initiative showcasing the treasures of Greece’s Archaeological Museums and reconnecting citizens with the country’s rich cultural heritage.
- Support for the National Theatre & theatre workshops for the elderly
Additionally, LAMDA introduced LAMDALabs, a new research project aimed at leveraging the company’s extensive expertise—particularly gained through the development of the landmark Hellinikon Project—and transferring this knowledge to relevant institutions in Greece and to society at large.
Because every act with a positive impact multiplies the common good, L Factor turns every commitment into daily action.
