Through fifteen paintings and two sculptures, Maria Filopoulou reveals her personal truth and relationship with nature on a sensory and emotional level. Feeling free within the natural environment, and especially within the life-giving water, she paints representational, lived-in places beneath clear skies and Mediterranean suns, celebrating the human presence and composing the totality of nature bathed in light and rhythm.
The exhibition presents a harmonious interplay between the human and natural environment, offering residents and visitors of Nafplio spaces of emotional resonance and personal exploration within Maria Filopoulou’s painted world.
