Dopios was born for these very moments—a modern meze restaurant made to host our most cherished memories, those being created right now. And indeed, over the past four years at its Athenian home in Agion Theodoron Square, Dopios has hosted countless memories. This summer, however, it decided to “cook up” a delicious new surprise—this time on the southern side of the city.

Located on Laodikis Street, one of Glyfada’s most charming avenues, Dopios sets another inviting table. It is a sunlit restaurant with most of its space outdoors, inviting guests to enjoy meze under the Attic sky all year round. The new southern location carries the same philosophy and, of course, the same chef. Christoforos Peskias continues to discover local products from small Greek producers and transforms them into creative meze dishes in his uniquely inventive way.
The Menu
In Dopios Glyfada, the menu remains the same—because you don’t change a winning recipe. Guests will find the octopus with Arvanitis’ fava from Santorini, popcorn shrimp with rich black garlic skordalia, the zesty smoked herring salad, the refined sea bass with bread crust and Kalamata olive sauce, and the irresistible meatballs.
Wines & Spirits
No meze table is ever complete without wine. Dopios knows this well, which is why its cellar holds 50 wines from Greek vineyards, along with 24 premium Greek spirits, including rare selections such as single-varietal and aged tsipouro—covering nearly every grape variety in the country. There’s even a brand-new house wine, bottled exclusively for Dopios by Katogi Averoff.
