In the hotel’s elegant and packed public areas, overlooking the verdant Pedion tou Areos park, the Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens welcomed prominent figures from the arts, culture, and business sectors, as well as journalists, collectors, and art lovers, for an evening dedicated to aesthetics and artistic expression.
Curated by art historian Eleni Athanasiou, the group exhibition features 30 works of painting and sculpture by 20 notable Greek artists who have collaborated with the hotel over the years. The works, drawn from personal and private collections, form part of the tribute titled “Contemporary Greek Art”. The exhibition will remain open to the public until Sunday, July 27, 2025.
Works by esteemed artists such as Eugene Agopian, Spyros Vassiliou, Chryssa Vergi, Yiannis Gaitis, Savvas Georgiadis, Yiannis Efthymiou, Markos Kampanis, Demosthenis Kokkinidis, Alexis Kyritsopoulos, Opy Zouni, Afroditi Liti, Haris Lambert, Giorgos Lappas, Thanasis Makris, Chronis Botsoglou, Demosthenis Skoulakis, Yiannis Spyropoulos, Thanos Tsingos, Manolis Charos, and Achilleas Christidis create a diverse visual narrative which, as the curator notes, “reveals the infinite beyond the apparent image of reality.”
The evening continued on the hotel’s rooftop, by the outdoor pool, where guests enjoyed signature cocktails, live music, and a relaxed ambiance under the lights of Athens, with views of the Acropolis and Mount Lycabettus, a truly unique hospitality experience.
This exhibition is part of a broader program of cultural and gastronomic events planned throughout the year to commemorate the hotel’s 50th anniversary. The Radisson Blu Park Hotel Athens remains a timeless meeting point for the city’s vibrant rhythm, its art scene, and its distinctive sense of hospitality.
