Athens Bike Festival powered by PPC returns for its 12th edition on March 21–22, 2026, welcoming cycling enthusiasts to Pedion tou Areos in the heart of Athens. With free entry for all visitors, the event has established itself as the largest cycling gathering in Greece.
Every year the festival attracts more than 15,000 visitors, bringing together athletes, families, urban commuters and anyone curious to discover the world of cycling. For two days, one of the city’s most iconic parks transforms into a vibrant hub dedicated to bicycles and sustainable mobility.
A celebration of cycling and urban mobility
Supported once again by PPC, the event continues to grow alongside the rising popularity of cycling as both a recreational activity and a practical means of urban transportation.
As a modern powertech group combining energy, technology and sustainable mobility solutions, PPC promotes cycling through a series of initiatives that highlight its benefits for sport, leisure and environmentally friendly commuting. At the festival, visitors will find interactive activities, games and cycling-themed gifts designed to encourage a greener future.
Test rides and the latest cycling trends
Athens Bike Festival brings together the entire cycling ecosystem in one place. Visitors will be able to explore road bikes, mountain bikes, gravel bikes, city bikes and e-bikes, while test rides allow them to compare different models in real conditions within the park.
The festival also showcases the broader culture surrounding cycling, including accessories, training, nutrition, cycling tourism and the growing world of micromobility.
Electric-assist bicycles will once again play a major role, reflecting the rapid growth of the market and the shift toward smarter and more sustainable ways of moving around the city.
