City of Athens launches free exercise programs in four parks across the city.

The City of Athens is introducing free organized exercise activities in four major green spaces, offering opportunities for physical activity and wellbeing for children, adults, and people with disabilities. The program is implemented by the Organization of Culture, Sports and Youth of the City of Athens in cooperation with the Region of Attica.

The initiative transforms public parks into open hubs of movement, wellness, and social interaction, accessible to everyone across the city.

Mayor of Athens Haris Doukas stated that through the Urban Training program and park based exercise activities, the city is promoting daily physical activity in public spaces. He highlighted that Pilates, Bodytone, Freestyle sessions, family friendly activities, and specially designed programs for people with disabilities are offered free of charge, aiming to make fitness accessible to all.

Program overview

Certified trainers will be present at each location from 09:00 to 12:00, guiding participants through structured sessions including Pilates, Bodytone, Freestyle, and adapted activities.
