A magical evening dedicated to Greek cinema was enjoyed by all who attended this unique live concert.
On the evening of Wednesday, June 11, LAMDA transformed the one-of-a-kind Ellinikon Experience Park into an open-air stage brimming with emotion, music, and cinematic magic.
Under the glow of the full moon, more than 1,000 people filled Plaza A of our beloved Park to enjoy “Enchanting Melodies from the Silver Screen”, a tribute concert to Greek cinema that left a lasting impression on everyone.
The concert, held with the support of the Municipality of Elliniko–Argyroupoli, exceeded all expectations. The acclaimed composer Yiannis Christodoulopoulos provided the musical backdrop for the evening, accompanying on piano the heartfelt performances of Zoe Papadopoulou and George Davlas, who gifted the audience with unforgettable moments by reviving iconic songs from the history of Greek cinema.
The experience reached a new level when one of the former air force hangars was transformed into a living canvas. Spectacular projections inspired by old Athens and the former eastern airport at Elliniko danced across its surfaces, creating a dazzling and atmospheric scene that seamlessly united past and present.
It was a magical night — a concert that became an experience. A journey through memory, music, and the unforgettable moments of Greek cinema.
And this was just the beginning. LAMDA promises to fill our summer with many more such evenings, full of music, magic, and culture..
