On Thursday, July 31, Michelin starred Makris Athens by Domes will host a special 4 Hands Dinner. A culinary pas de deux between two internationally acclaimed Greek chefs. Chef Patron Petros Dimas welcomes Kostas Papathanasiou into his kitchen, the former Executive Chef of Frantzén in Stockholm, one of the world’s few restaurants awarded three Michelin stars.
The two chefs are united by a standing friendship and a shared philosophy around high-end ingredients and a deep passion for hospitality – roots that trace back to their time together at Atherton’s Pollen Street Social. Built on this culinary kinship and a shared creative language, Kostas Papathanasiou returns to Athens to co-sign a menu with Petros Dimas that balances nostalgia with boldness, memory with reinvention.
The specially curated six-course tasting menu will take guests on a journey of flavor, from a ricotta and mango tart that flirts with Mediterranean sweetness, to a daring composition of amberjack with apricot and Persian caviar. Each dish flows into the next, forming a seamless and thoughtful narrative of taste.
The experience will be complemented by a wine pairing from Makris’ exceptional cellar, with selections that elevate the complexity of each course.
