Confident design, hybrid power, digital everyday life
The Audi Q3 returns in its third generation, more complete than ever. With over two million units sold globally, the bestseller in the premium compact segment has undergone a radical renewal—setting new benchmarks in design, technology, and efficiency.
Dynamic Design – A New Identity for the Premium Compact Segment
The new Audi Q3 clearly embodies the sporty and contemporary DNA of the brand. Muscular proportions, bold lines, and the distinctive Singleframe grille give it a confident and dynamic character. Sculpted surfaces and sharp light-shadow contrasts create a standout presence in both SUV and Sportback variants. The Sportback, with a roofline 29 mm lower and a coupe-inspired silhouette, enhances the car’s athletic and sporty aesthetics—without sacrificing SUV practicality.
Cutting-Edge Lighting Technology – The High-Tech Signature of the New Q3
For the first time in Audi’s compact segment, the Q3 features digital Matrix LED headlights with micro-LED technology. The lighting unit includes 25,600 micro-LEDs just 13 millimeters wide—each about half the thickness of a human hair. The result? Outstanding brightness, optimal clarity, and personalized light signatures. In the new Audi Q3, lighting functions are now closely integrated with the driver assistance systems, offering enhanced safety and road visibility. At the rear, optional OLED taillights with illuminated Audi rings deliver a unique lighting identity.
Interior – A Premium Feel with a “Digital Stage”
An 11.9” digital instrument cluster and a 12.8” MMI touchscreen form the unified “digital stage” of the Q3. The infotainment system is powered by Android Automotive OS, offering direct access to third-party apps like YouTube via the Audi Application Store—fully integrated into the MMI and without requiring smartphone connection.
The new steering column control unit incorporates two stalks (right for gear selection, left for lights and wipers), freeing up space in the center console. This allows for improved ergonomics, dual cupholders, and a greater sense of spaciousness.
For the first time in a compact Audi, acoustic side windows are available for the front, significantly improving sound insulation at high speeds.
With a luggage capacity of 488 liters—expanding to 1,386 liters with the rear seats folded (Sportback: up to 1,289 liters)—and a towing capacity of up to 2,100 kg, the Q3 is as practical as larger SUVs. The rear seats slide fore and aft and have adjustable backrest angles, offering even greater versatility.
Wide Range of High-Performance Engines
The new Audi Q3 is available with a range of efficient and powerful engines that combine fuel-saving technologies with dynamic driving performance.
The 1.5 TFSI engine with 150 hp (110 kW), featuring mild-hybrid technology and a 7-speed S tronic transmission as standard, ensures lower fuel consumption and reduced emissions. It also includes a cylinder-on-demand system (COD) that deactivates two cylinders under low to mid-loads to further improve efficiency.
The Q3 is also offered with the highly reliable and fuel-efficient 2.0 TDI diesel engine producing 150 hp (110 kW) and 360 Nm of torque.
At the top of the range are the e-hybrid plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models, which combine the 1.5 TFSI engine with an electric motor for a total output of 272 hp (200 kW) and 400 Nm of torque. With a high-voltage battery of 25.7 kWh (net capacity: 19.7 kWh), they offer an all-electric range of up to 119 km (WLTP) for the SUV and 118 km (WLTP) for the Sportback. DC fast charging up to 50 kW allows the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes. The Audi Charging service provides access to thousands of charging points across 28 European countries, enhancing everyday usability.
Dynamic Driving – Comfort with Precision
The advanced standard suspension system enhances the driving experience across all conditions. Optional systems—including sport suspension and adaptive damping with dual-valve technology—provide the ideal balance between comfort and sporty performance. This dual nature of the Q3 is evident whether in e-hybrid form or with conventional internal combustion engines.
Driver Assistance Systems
The new Audi Q3 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of assistance systems that make daily driving easier and safer. Standard features include parking system plus with distance display, cruise control with speed limiter and adaptive cruise preparation, lane change warning with emergency assist, traffic sign recognition, and driver fatigue and attention alerts.
Additional systems such as active front assist with avoidance, evasive steering, and cross-traffic functions further enhance active safety. The new Adaptive Driving Assistant Plus supports both longitudinal and lateral control and now includes lane-change assist for even greater driving comfort.
Production Network
To meet high global demand, Audi has organized Q3 production across two key sites: Győr (Hungary) and Ingolstadt (Germany). Bodies are manufactured in Győr and then transported to Germany for painting and final assembly.
