The Atrium of Alexander’s Lounge at the Hotel Grande Bretagne welcomes the arrival of the summer season, opening its doors to a unique al fresco dining experience.

On Friday, May 8, 2026, in the lush “secret garden” on the first floor, Head Sommelier Evangelos Psofidis will host the renowned Italian winery Produttori del Barbaresco for an evening dedicated to Italy’s rich winemaking heritage, offering a rare opportunity to experience some of its most distinctive labels.

Founded in 1958, the iconic Produttori del Barbaresco has played a pivotal role in establishing Barbaresco as one of the most important wine regions in Piedmont and one of the most internationally acclaimed. Through its collective philosophy, the winery consistently expresses the richness and authenticity of its vineyards.

Executive Chef Asterios Koustoudis will curate an elegant six-course menu in the open kitchen of the Atrium, perfectly paired with the winery’s exceptional labels, capturing the essence of Italian convivialità.

Set among olive trees, cypress trees, and fragrant herbs, guests will embark on an unforgettable journey of flavors and aromas in one of the city’s most distinctive summer destinations, heralding a season filled with exceptional gastronomic experiences.
