Astir Marina announces its partnership with Ports de Monaco, validating high-end services
Astir Marina Vouliagmenis S.A. (Astir Marina), is pleased to announce the signing of a three-year partnership with Société Monégasque Internationale Portuaire (SMIP). In the context of the redevelopment of the historic marina in Astir Vouliagmeni, Astir’ s management has engaged in an important synergy with the main port operator of the Principality of Monaco, Ports de Monaco, for the exchange of know-how, ensuring top-level operation and services provided.
Société Monégasque Internationale Portuaire (SMIP), or Ports de Monaco, was engaged to provide consulting services and best practices to optimize all marina operations. By sharing leading expertise, Astir Marina’s marine and land management is conducted in a state-of-the-art manner, with innovative security procedures and advanced telecommunications systems that guarantee the excellent operation of its infrastructure.
This agreement is fully in line with one of the two areas in which we are developing our international activities, namely, regarding exporting our expertise by accompanying and associating Monaco Ports with high-end luxury marinas that position themselves in the yachting sector and creating synergies within the standards of Monaco Ports.

Moreover, the cooperation includes the specialized training of staff in docking and the provision of high-quality customer service, as well as the exchange of know-how for the protection of the marine environment and the design of environmental actions with a positive sustainability impact and high added value for the local community.
The implementation of the pioneering project announced by Astir Palace for the redevelopment of the marina in 2019 is reaching its completion and Astir Marina confirms its status as the preferred mooring destination for vessels of prestigious owners. With 59 berth slots and top branded retail outlets, the modernized Astir Marina will offer its guests ultimate privacy and unique hospitality experiences.
