Seventy images, in a photography exhibition at the Former Public Tobacco Factory featuring works by seven leading photographers, create a visual narrative of the LAMDA Development Universe, expressing the Group’s vision for urban well-being.
Seven acclaimed Greek photographers come together to explore the urban destinations shaped by LAMDA Development, offering seventy evocative images that trace the values and rhythms of contemporary city life. Through their distinct visual vocabularies, they capture how familiar architectural spaces transform into places of experience, emotion, and connection. The exhibition Landmarks of Connection presents these destinations not simply as sites on a map, but as living environments where everyday rituals become shared narratives. From promenades and retail centers to coastal landmarks, these spaces are shown as ecosystems where personal and collective memory coalesce. Organized around seven thematic pillars—Light & Vision, Nature & Humanity, Future & Innovation, Experience & Time, Form & Balance, Culture & Connection, and Emotion & Inspiration—the exhibition unfolds as a visual cartography of the evolving urban landscape. Each theme highlights the silent dialogue between built space and human presence, illustrating how the places we inhabit shape and are shaped by us.
This exhibition also serves as a visual narration of LAMDA Development Universe, a publication expressing the company’s vision for a new urban well-being. Curated by journalist and editor Fotis Tsimelas, Landmarks of Connection offers a multi-dimensional reflection on how urban planning, architecture, and community life intersect in meaningful ways. Hosted at the Former Public Tobacco Factory in Athens, from 1 to 20 July 2025, Landmarks of Connection is, at its heart, a portrait of places that breathe— urban environments that evolve with us, reflecting both the intimacy of daily life and the collective pulse of the city.
