Bespoke AI and Vision AI Take Center Stage
During its “Innovation For All” presentation at IFA 2025, Samsung unveiled its vision for the future: “AI Home: Future Living, Now.” Samsung’s goal is to make the AI-powered home not just a concept of tomorrow but a reality people can live in today.
“At Samsung, we don’t just imagine the future of artificial intelligence—we embed it into users’ everyday lives,” said Cheolgi Kim (CK), Executive Vice President and Head of the Digital Appliances (DA) Business at Samsung Electronics. “Samsung’s AI Home goes beyond smart devices to create homes that truly understand their users, adapt to their needs, and take care of what matters most. This is the beginning of a new era where technology quietly supports daily life, allowing people to live distraction-free.”
The Samsung AI Home is designed to bring comfort, efficiency, well-being, and security into users’ everyday routines.
According to Samsung research, 66% of consumers find the idea of an AI-powered home useful. Many believe it would simplify daily tasks (44%) and offer better control through mobile devices or voice commands (45%). Through automated SmartThings routines—like adjusting lighting and temperature—Samsung’s AI Home delivers practical everyday conveniences.
For 93% of respondents, the home is a “sanctuary,” while 80% consider it a place for social connection. As families spend more time together, the AI Home enhances shared experiences with flexible systems, personalized sleep settings, and even meal planning tools.
Energy efficiency is one of the key benefits consumers expect from AI integration. 66% believe that an AI-enabled home can help them track expenses and save money.
Security also remains a top concern: 40% of respondents expect AI to enhance home protection through real-time alerts. Samsung Knox Vault protects sensitive data at the hardware level, while Knox Matrix extends that protection across connected devices, ensuring ecosystem-level security.
